Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Quality Supervision announced today the results of the supervision and inspection of the products related to the prevention and control of influenza A H1N1 influenza. After supervising and spot-checking the products of disinfectant, masks and protective clothing, the qualified rate of masks was only 50%, and the passing rates of disinfectant and protective clothing were 90% and 60%, respectively.
In this sampling inspection, a total of 12 batches of masks were supervised and checked, and 6 batches were qualified. The unqualified items were mainly pH, basic mask size, mask layers and signs. The pH value is an important indicator of the quality of the mask. The mask should be neutral and the pH exceeds the standard. It will create conditions for the growth of bacteria that adapt to different environments.
After a random inspection of 20 batches of protective clothing, the pass rate was only 60%. Unqualified items are mainly filtration efficiency, microbiological indicators, breaking strength, elongation at break, standards, and instructions for use. Filtration efficiency is unqualified and does not achieve good protection; microbiological indicators are unqualified, indicating that the product has not been sterilized or treated incompletely; breaking strength, failure rate of elongation is unqualified, and it affects the durability and extension of the clothing. Sexuality affects human activities.
The spot inspection also carried out supervision and spot checks on 20 batches of disinfectant, and the two batches were unqualified. The unqualified items were those that did not meet the standard requirements for the effective chlorine content from sterilization and sterilization.
For the problems reflected in the quality inspection of this product, the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau has asked the quality supervision departments at all levels to seriously handle it.
