Application of transmission combined with ring gear laser welding technology

At present, the connection of the micro-automobile transmission combined with the ring gear and the gear almost adopts the integral precision forging combined with the tooth, the spline connection and the optical hole interference connection. However, the spline structure has the disadvantages of long processing steps and long production cycle; the optical hole interference connection has the disadvantages of high processing requirements and easy occurrence of interference looseness. The control problems and quality problems of these processes have seriously affected the ideas of product designers, constrained the development process of small and lightweight transmissions, and when process technology must be improved.

First, the principle of laser deep-fusion welding

Laser welding is to irradiate a laser beam with a high energy density onto a workpiece, so that the workpiece is heated and melted, and then cooled to obtain a weld (see Fig. 1, Fig. 2). The features are: Laser welding has a molten pool purification effect, which can clean the weld metal. The laser beam can be very finely concentrated, the spot energy density is very high, almost all materials can be vaporized, and it has wide applicability; the laser power is controllable and easy to automate; the laser beam power density is high, and the weld penetration is large High speed, high efficiency; narrow laser weld, small heat affected zone, small deformation of workpiece, precision welding; laser weld uniform structure, small grain, less pores, less inclusion defects, in mechanical properties, The corrosion resistance and electromagnetic properties are superior to conventional welding methods.
