The State Adjusts Export Tax Refund Rate to 13% for Metal Furniture

The Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation have recently issued the "Notice on Improving the Tax Rebate Rates for Products Exported from Light Textiles, etc." Since April 1, 2009, some textile and clothing, light industry, steel, nonferrous metals, petrochemical, and Electronic information products export tax rebate rate.

It is reported that in order to support foreign trade and exports, boost the economy and guarantee employment, the country has continuously raised the export tax rebate rate for five times since the second half of last year. Relevant statistics show that after the increase in export tax rebate rate, the actual export tax rebate for China has been significantly increased, which has eased the pressure on the export company's capital turnover. Some products that increase the export tax rebate rate also show a positive trend of slowing down. This time raising the export tax rebate rate for some products, including raising the export tax rebate rate of aluminum products such as non-ferrous metal materials, some rock drilling tools, metal furniture, etc., to 13%, using methanol, some plastics and their products, wooden picture frames, etc. The export tax rebate rate for products such as wood products and vehicle rearview mirrors has increased to 11%.
