The advantages of good product quality and low cost reflect the new development of modern industrial production technology. It is of great significance to obtain high-quality blocks and various shapes of plates and improve the processing quality, production efficiency and economic benefits of stone. When the feed speed of the bead saw increases, the wear of the bead rope increases, and the cost of the bead rope is higher, which leads to an increase in production cost. Therefore, it is not possible to blindly increase the feed rate in order to pursue production. In this paper, we evaluate the wear of diamond bead rope from two aspects:

1. Macroscopic wear of beaded rope: The macroscopic wear of the beaded rope is obtained by monitoring the change in the diameter of the diamond bead. In the experiment, the diameter of the selected bead was measured using a vernier caliper, and a total of 15 beads were used as samples to measure the wear variation of the bead diameter during the cutting process. According to the previous research results, due to the large discontinuous ratio structure of the beaded rope, the beaded rope will find the taper wear when cutting the stone. Therefore, in the experiment, the diameter of the front, middle and back parts is measured for each bead. This ensures the accuracy of the results and makes it easy to observe whether the wear in each area is uniform.

2. Microscopic wear of beaded rope: The microscopic wear of the beaded rope is achieved by counting the wear state of the abrasive surface of the beaded surface and the height of the edge of each abrasive grain.

The degree of wear of the beaded rope has a great relationship with the use of stone machinery. This paper makes a simple analysis based on the above and some actual conditions. The factors that affect the wear of the beaded rope during use are relatively large:

1. When the beading saw feed speed increases. The wear of the beaded rope is increased. Because the price of the beaded rope is relatively expensive, the production cost will increase. Therefore, the feed rate cannot be blindly increased in order to pursue the output. The supply and demand situation of the bead, the price of the beaded rope, the price of the stone, The comprehensive analysis of labor costs and other factors, select the best feed rate for comprehensive economic indicators. Because the surface of the block is often uneven, when the sawing is started, in order to avoid the crushing or breaking of the bead rope under stress, the feed rate should be 20%-30% lower than the normal sawing feed rate until the bead rope is completely inserted. After the people block, increase the feed rate.

2. The sawing speed of beaded rope is closely related to the stone type, bead type and stone length. For the same processing equipment, when the beaded rope or stone type changes, the sawing speed should be changed accordingly to obtain the maximum wear rate. After replacing the new beaded rope, it is best to first cut the soft stone. And reduce the cutting speed and feed rate to facilitate the diamond edge.
