Work environment requirements

Before work

2. During wind season operations, measures should be taken to prevent winds from splashing and causing fire. If the wind power is greater than class 6 , the operation should be stopped.

3. Grease gloves, cotton yarn and tools are strictly prohibited from contacting cylinders, bottle valves, pressure reducers and tempering lines.

When leaking gas cylinders, use soapy water for leak detection. Never use open flames.

4. Carefully check the integrity of the bottle valve, pressure reducer, temper preventer, safety valve or safety device before use.

5. When checking the welding, cutting moment, and suction ability, it shall prevent the nozzles from being blocked by molten metal spatter or other impurities to cause backfire, welding and cutting moments and connecting parts. The hoses and valves cannot be stained with grease.

6. When firing, the nozzle cannot be exposed to people. The burning moment cannot be placed on the workpiece and the ground.

7. During the operation, the surface of the workpiece shall be cleaned of paint, rust, and grease. When operating in containers that store caustic soda, sulfur, oil, toluene, etc., the containers must be cleaned and operated after the toxic gas is detected.

At work

1. Before installing the pressure reducing valve, slowly open the cylinder valve (to prevent the generation of static electricity) to blow off the dust inside and outside the interface; install the pressure relief valve, and then open the valve to check for leaks, whether it is unblocked; when operating, people should Stand on the side of the interface and do not face the interface.

Check the pipe joints for free connection of dust and metal shavings. After removing the pipe, do not put it on the ground or place it on the floor to avoid impurities.

2. Regularly check the tempering preventer, whether the pressure film is in good condition, whether the inlet and outlet are unblocked, and whether the check valve is sensitive.

3. Oxygen in the cylinder is forbidden to be used up completely, and 1 to 1.5 atmospheres must be reserved to check the gas and prevent impurities from entering.

4. When using in winter, the thawing bottle valve can only use hot water or steam at 40 °C . It is forbidden to use flame heating or iron hammer.

5. When working with the welder in the same place, in order to prevent the cylinder from being charged, an insulating mat should be added at the bottom of the bottle. The metal pipe and equipment that comes into contact with the gas cylinder should be installed with a grounding wire to prevent static electricity from causing fire and explosion.

Safe use of acetylene:

1. The maximum working pressure of acetylene is prohibited to exceed 0.174 MPa.

2. It is forbidden to use copper alloys or copper alloys containing more than 70% of copper to manufacture parts and pipes that are in contact with acetylene.

3. The oxygen hose used in welding and cutting is black and the acetylene gas pipe is red. The hoses cannot be exchanged. Check whether the hose is worn, aged, punctured or cracked before work and repair or replace it in time.

4. Electrocution, poisoning, bruising and eye diseases should be prevented during gas welding and gas cutting operations, and heatstroke should be prevented during the summer.

5. Acetylene bottle placement place: can not be close to heat and electrical equipment, from the open fire more than 10 meters ; use the original acetylene lying on the bottle, must first stand up, rest for 20 minutes before use.

6. It is forbidden to tap, hit and ignite the acetylene bottle on the bottle, explosion-proof drying and baking. It is forbidden to heat the acetylene bottle with hot water and other heat sources above 40 °C . It is forbidden to place objects and tools on the bottle. Or winding hanging rubber pipe and welding, cutting moment and so on.

7. When moving the work, if using a special car to carry, in the same car must be partitioned with flame-retardant material.

8. There must be a special pressure reducer and tempering preventer at the outlet of the cylinder valve. The opening of the bottle valve should be slow. Do not exceed one and a half turns. In normal use, the deflation pressure indicated by the pressure reducer shall not exceed 0.15 MPa, and the deflation flow shall not exceed 0.05 M3 /H?l.

9. The gas in the acetylene bottle is strictly forbidden and must have a residual pressure of not less than 0.05 MPa . It is forbidden to repair and replace accessories such as fusible alloy valves on the bottle itself, and welding and repair of bottles and bases are strictly prohibited.

10. If the phenomenon of flashback and incineration into the oxygen hose occurs, it cannot be used anymore and must be replaced. Because tempering often burns the inner rubber layer of the hose, compressed oxygen is a strong oxidant. If it is used continuously, it will lose its normal safety.

11. If tempering occurs in the operation, the emergency speed-opening and closing acetylene and oxygen adjustment handwheels are quenched after quenching, the welding nozzle is put into water to cool, then the oxygen is blown to remove the soot in the welding torch, and then re-ignited.

12. After the normal work is stopped, the cutting oxygen adjustment handwheel should be closed first, and then the acetylene and preheat oxygen handwheels should be closed.

13. Security measures must be taken to ascend the welding operation to prevent accidents such as falling, fire and object hitting.

After work

1. After the welding is stopped, it is forbidden to permanently connect the welding torch, hose and gas source.

2. After welding is stopped, it is necessary to check if there is a fire and confirm that it is completely extinguished before leaving.

Prepare before welding

Welders should be placed in a ventilated, dry place and placed smoothly.

Check the welding mask should be no light leakage, damage. Welding personnel and auxiliary personnel shall wear well-defined labor protection products and set the screen to isolate the radiant heat emitted by the weldment. Welding operators must not wear contact lenses, and they must not wear contact lenses while they are watching in the welding work area.

Welders, welding clamps, power cords, and joints must be connected reliably and well insulated. Overheating at the connection is not allowed. The terminals of the power terminals must not be exposed. Use an insulating tape to wrap them. It is forbidden that the power cord of the welding machine is chaotic and long in the workplace, and the welding machine is connected to the grounding wire.

Between the welding wire and the welding gun must be less than 30M, as for the special needs or exceed 50M long. Wires with moisture and broken stock should be replaced immediately.

AC welding machine:

1. The initial and secondary circuit wiring should be accurate. The input voltage should meet the equipment regulations and it is forbidden to contact the live parts of the initial line.

2. The secondary tap jointed copper plate must be compacted and the terminal post should have a gasket.

Before the DC welding machine is used, dirt on the commutator should be wiped to keep the commutator and the brush in good contact.

Welding precautions

1. According to the technical conditions of the workpiece, choose a reasonable welding process (electrode, welding current and duty cycle rate), do not allow the use of overload, and should try to use no-load power cut device. High-current welding is not allowed, and electric welding machines are not allowed to perform metal cutting operations. 2. In the welding load, the temperature should not exceed Class A welder 6OC, class B 80C, should be shut down or after cooling, and then welded.

3. The welding machine work site should be kept dry and well ventilated. When moving the welding machine, the power should be cut off, and the welding machine must not be moved by dragging the cable. If the welding machine suddenly loses power, the power should be cut off.

4. In the welding, the current is not allowed to be adjusted. The handle must be used to adjust the welder current when the welding is stopped. It must not be too fast or too fast so as not to damage the regulator.

5. When the DC welding machine is started, it should be checked that the direction of rotation of the rotor is in accordance with the arrow of the welder's mark.

6. The gap between the brush holder edge and the commutator surface of the DC welding machine must not be less than 2-3 MM , and pay attention to the frequent adjustment and wipe the dirt.

7. When the silicon rectifier welding machine is used, the fan motor must be turned on first, and the indication value of the voltmeter should be normal. There should be no abnormal sound when inspected carefully. After shutdown, the silicon rectifier and other components should be cleaned.

8. It is forbidden to test the secondary coil of the main transformer of the silicon rectifying welding machine and the secondary coil of the control transformer with a rocker.

9. When welding in a wet place, the welder should stand on the insulating board and not touch the wire of the welding machine by hand, and it is not allowed to use the arm to clamp the welding clamp so as to avoid electric shock.

Precautions after welding

1. After the welding operation is completed, the power supply should be cut off immediately, and the welder switch should be turned off to clean the welding torch power supply and the ground wire separately, so as to avoid a short circuit caused by closing.

2. In the welding, if the automatic power failure device is found to be ineffective, it shall be stopped and shut down and repaired.

3. When removing the weld spatter, wear glasses. Note that the head should avoid tapping the welding spatter in order to avoid stabbing the eyes. Do not tap the welding slag against the person present.

4. After the open-air operation, the welder should be pulled back indoors to prevent rain.

5. When welding is not performed (moving, repairing, adjusting, work break), power should be cut off to avoid accidents.
