Organized by the National Furniture Standardization Center, the Dongguan Furniture Quality Standards Supervision and Inspection Institute has organized a furniture standards certification meeting held in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. More than 40 experts and representatives from the furniture industry from the China Furniture Association, Dongguan Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision and other relevant departments, as well as Nanjing Forestry University, related manufacturing companies, and Guangdong Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center participated in the validation meeting.
It is understood that the conference has approved eight standards, including the formulation of seven national standards such as "Office Furniture Screen", "Household Bunk Bed" and "Furniture for Children's High Chairs". Shanghai Quality Supervision, Inspection and Technology Research Institute in the first half of 2007 Declaration, the National Standardization Management Committee approved the release of the project at the end of the year, of which three are mandatory standards for safety performance, four are the main dimensions and recommended methods of test methods. These standards are China's furniture industry urgently needed standard projects, the standard equivalent use of EN and ISO standard technology and test methods.
Experts attending the meeting carefully examined and approved the standard draft, and all eight standards passed the validation. The validation conclusion is: The approved furniture standard can fill the gap of domestic furniture standards, and the standard technology has reached the international advanced level. For further improving the level of safety performance of our country's office furniture and other products, protecting personal safety, promoting a sound and rapid development of the furniture industry, and standardizing and rectifying the market order provides technical standards. At the same time, the validation meeting put forward some revision opinions and suggestions on the standard review draft. It requires the standard drafting unit to rush to modify the report and approve the issuance and implementation as soon as possible.
