EPS (expanded polystyrene) is the classic among raw materials for economic construction, rational and secure packaging and many additional creative applications. Despite its low material costs - 98% of EPS consists of air - it has a high degree of stability and elasticity. The air trapped in the pearls provides top thermal properties. EPS is an FCKW-free granulated foam plastic containing an expanding agent which is produced as a granulate with a range of 0.2 to 3.0 mm. The granulate rigid foam originates from three processing stages - pre-foaming, temporary storage and foaming to produce a mould.

Applications:
