The Third Presidium of the 5th China Tungsten Industry Association was held in Guangzhou on January 10, 2010. The meeting was chaired by Huang Guoping, Executive Chairman of the Presidium. The production and operation situation of the enterprise is extremely severe, and the economic benefits of the industry are declining. The Association adheres to the tenet of “serving the government, serving the industry, and serving the enterpriseâ€. It actively plays the role of bridges and links, conducts in-depth industry research, and actively contributes ideas and suggestions. In order to maintain the stable development of the tungsten industry, we will continue to advance various business tasks to a new level. Do a lot of fruitful work. The "Report" comprehensively and objectively summed up the work of the Association in 2009, and the proposed work arrangement of the Association in 2010 is practical. In 2010, the focus will continue to increase efforts in promoting market price recovery, controlling the total amount of tungsten concentrate mining, reflecting the demands of industry enterprises, actively proposing suggestions, curbing the blind expansion of tungsten smelting and processing capacity, promoting product structure adjustment and industrial optimization and upgrading. The meeting adopted the 2009 work report of the association and submitted it to the second council for consideration.
The meeting elected the Chairman, Party Secretary and General Manager of the Rare Metal Tungsten Holding Group Co., Ltd., Zhong Xiaoyun as the second executive chairman of the 5th Bureau of the Board of Directors.
The meeting recommended the addition of Guangsheng Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. as a member of the 5th Presidium. The General Manager Chen Zhenliang was the Chairman of the 5th Presidium and submitted to the Second Council for consideration.
The meeting reviewed the 2009 revenue and expenditure of the Association and the 2010 budget plan, the recommendations of the five directors of the Board of Directors, and the recommendations on the development and withdrawal of members, and submitted to the Fifth Council for consideration.
The meeting also reviewed the research report on the "Research on the Status Quo and Countermeasures of Tungsten Industry Development in China". The research report analyzes in detail the development status of China's tungsten industry, the content is rich, the data is informative, and the development ideas and countermeasures are put forward. The research report basically reaches the requirements of the project plan and task book, which will produce the sustainable development of China's tungsten industry.
