The world’s largest LNG purchase company and South Korea’s only LNG wholesale company, Korean Natural Gas Corporation, said in a document submitted to the Seoul Stock Exchange that 1.1 million tons of LNG was sold to South Korea in the 1.95 million tons of LNG sold in September. The power generation sector increased by 22% year-on-year, and the remaining 850,000 tons of LNG was sold to households and businesses, an increase of 8.8% year-on-year.
